Permissible total weight The permissible gross weight consists of the weight of the rider, the load (luggage, child seats, etc.) and the bicycle/eBike. It is specified both in the operating instructions and on the type plate. The permissible gross weight is an important feature of the bicycle/eBike and, in addition to the bicycle category, the set-up, the frame shape and the frame height, it must suit you as a rider. When making a purchase decision, please make sure that you do not exceed the permissible gross weight in use. However, an overgenerous permissible gross weight does not lead to any further advantage. Comparable to the frame size, the permissible gross weight must be tailored to your individual needs.
