Neben dem geringeren Gesamtgewicht unserer SONIC SX Modelle entsteht so die Möglichkeit einer besonders schlanken und unauffälligen Integration des neuen Antriebs. Motor Trotz seiner extrem kompakten Bauweise und einem Gewicht von nur 2 kg bringt es der neue Performance Line SX Motor auf ein Drehmoment von bis zu 55 Newtonmetern. Durch die Steuerung der Unterstützung über die Trittfrequenz ist der leichte Antrieb am Berg dabei extrem leistungsstark – auch weil er wie der CX über eine Spitzenleistung von 600 Watt verfügt. Akku Ebenso kompakt wie der Motor präsentiert sich der besonders schlanke 400 Wattstunden PowerTube Akku, der bei den SONIC SX Modellen optimal in den Rahmen integriert ist. Ausgestattet mit neuster Batterietechnologie bietet er genügend Energie für sportliche Offroad-Fahrten und Touren. Bei Bedarf lässt sich die Kapazität dank RangeExtender um weitere 250 Wattstunden erhöhen. Display Minimalistisch, sportlich und leistungsstark präsentiert sich auch die Steuerung des neuen Antriebs: Der im Oberrohr der SONIC SX Modelle integrierte SystemController informiert kompakt und übersichtlich über den Akkuladestand und die aktuelle Unterstützungsstufe. Die Antriebssteuerung erfolgt über die Mini Remote am Lenkergriff. So bleibt maximaler Spielraum für sportliche E-MTB-Action.
